This LITTLE PIGGY WENT TO THE MARKET: St. Lawrence, Toronto

I've been know by some under the nickname 'groceries'. What can I say, a girls gotta eat.

So this morning, during my short stay in Toronto, I decided to walk down from my hotel near the harbour to the St. Lawrence Market. An aromatic haven for someone with such a love for the art of eating and all that it entails.

Each stall had an array of items I didn't even know came in such a variety. Mustards and lentils, cheeses and pretzels. It was colourful place on a dreary Saturday morning. My eyes were gooey and glazed as I peered into each stall salivating at the combinations of flavours.

It's amazing isn't it how mundane we usually make the little things like weekly groceries, when truthfully they can really be so much fun. And so this is my challenge for you, get out and explore your city! Find a way to make a weekly task something fresh and exciting. Tell me about your adventures in the comment section below or post a recommendation to a favourite local place.

In the meantime, this little piggy's goin' for lunch!
