Cait and I found ourselves in Tokyo last week during one of seven week-long sumo tournaments in Japan every year. It was an awesome cultural experience to be part of and thoroughly entertaining.
It was easy, sitting in the massive Ryogoku Sumo Wrestling Arena, to become engrossed in the local sport. It's a fascinating art laden with tradition. Each move prior to the fight is ceremonial, each in its own beautiful way. I shot and edited a short film to bring you there with us on this awesome experience.
